Marinated Goat Cheese

Why marinate goat cheese? It's all about the flavor.

We cut discs from our fresh Original Logs and place them on racks to dry for 5-7 days. Then, we hand-pack them into recyclable jars along with herbs and oil.

Our marinade slowly infuses flavors like Thyme & Rosemary, Jalapeño Chili and Black Truffle into the golden oil and the cheese.

Ingredients:

Cultured pasteurized goat milk, salt and microbial enzymes. Marinade: Organic canola oil, California extra-virgin olive oil, herbs and spices.

All Laura Chenel cheeses are made with local, fresh milk that is pasteurized, and we use only vegetarian-approved rennet (no animal rennet).

Cooking & Preparation

Both the cheese and oil are amazing spread and drizzled on toast, baguettes, salads, and as garnish for soups. The tasty marinade is a bonus dressing for your recipes.

Brush fresh tomatoes with some of the infused oil and roast them until they begin to brown.

The Jalapeño Chili oil is our favorite for bread dipping or drizzling over salmon.

Pairing Suggestions

Pair Thyme & Rosemary Marinated Goat Cheese with a sauvignon blanc, Jalapeño Chili with a syrah, and Black Truffle with an old Burgundy.
