Fresh goat milk for our chèvre is delivered daily to our Sonoma creamery from family dairies in Northern California and the Sierra Foothills. Our logs are made in the traditional French elongated shape and have a creamy texture at room temperature or baked. Famous for its rich-tasting, bright citrusy tang, flavors are enhanced due to a balanced amount of salt.
Laura Chenel’s Log is the original cheese that adorned Chez Panisse’s iconic Mixed Greens and Goat Cheese Salad in Berkeley, California. In this tradition, we recommend slicing the logs into rounds, coating them with breadcrumbs and baking until golden. Sauvignon Blanc is the ultimate fresh chèvre partner.
